thank you to all my supporters & watchers for a successful 2009. i know i drifted away from here for a while, but i think i ended the year with a new-found strength and confidence in my work again. may it continue to stay that way & only improve from here : ] thank you also for 700+ watchers & almost 35,000 page views - that is really more than i could ask for, i never expected anyone to pay attention to my work at all. i truly believe i could never be where i am right now without dA.
i don't have much planned tonight, except for a nice dinner, maybe a party later on, and then watching the silly news channels broadcast bits and pieces from the exclusive, upper-crust parties downtown or the live music and festivities in new york.
so happy new year, to everyone - make it a bliss-filled night, regardless of new year resolutions in tact, or whether or not you have someone to kiss under the stars at midnight.
(a little early, i know... but i won't be around tomorrow)
i hope everyone has a warm and happy holiday with the ones they love, and that even if you don't get everything you want perfectly packaged under the tree, with a big ribbon on top, you'll remember the true meaning of christmas - even if you're not religious, just the being with family and friends, and being grateful for what you do have right in front of you.
so happy holidays and a happy, healthy new year!
p.s. thank you to everyone who's faved/commented/watched me, especially because of my newest christmas and winter photographs. it means so much to me!
i am back & going to be busy on dA again. i'm on winter break until january 4th, so you can expect a lot more activity from me.
if you ask me a question (about anything) anonymously on my formspring, i will post my responses tomorrow or in the upcoming days depending on how many questions i get asked, in my next journal entry: [link]
here is my december feature - you know what do to. if you like what you see, watch, fav, and comment these artists & their work; they deserve it!
so tell me - what do you want for christmas? what kind of christmas traditions do you celebrate? do you celebrate another holiday instead of christmas? : ]
